QUERY: 1876 CENTENNIAL C.A.G.E MEDAL

Ron Abler writes:
C.A.G.E Centennial Medal I.ve attached a scan of an 1876 medal that has me stumped. It is obviously a Centennial medal of 1876, both from the date and the depiction of the Art Gallery at the 1876 Philadelphia Expo. I presume that the bust is that of Washington, however roughly executed. The medal is included in Holland.s list of Centennial medals.

My question has to do with the inscription. I have been entirely unsuccessful in figuring out what the C. A. G. E. stands for. I am always impressed at the breadth of knowledge among your readers. I.m hoping one of them can help me with this puzzle.
