EVEN MORE ON THE 100 GREATEST WORKS OF AMERICAN NUMISMATIC LITERATURE

Regarding the Numismatic Bibliomania Society survey on the 100 Greatest Works of American Numismatic Literature, David Gladfelter writes:
Voters might also consider the catalogs of the series of three American Bank Note Company Archive sales by Christie's in 1990-1991. The cataloguing was done by Gene Hessler and James Lamb with assistance from other knowledgeable persons. Also worth considering is the series of three ABNCo Archive sales by H.R. Harmer, Inc., in 2006, 2007 and 2008, written by Robert Schwartz. Important ABNCo. archive material has also been sold by Stack's over the last two years, with excellent cataloguing and photography, but no single catalog has pulled together enough of this material to make a convenient reference.
I finally completed my ballot this week and dropped it in the mail. It's a tough task. It will certainly be interesting to see the final outcome of the balloting. -Editor
Len Augsberger writes:
We have received 55 surveys so far. While we strongly encourage everyone to select a top one hundred, we will accept ballots with less than one hundred items voted for. Let's keep the ballots coming!
