Joel Orosz and I are searching for contact information
for Thomas W. Becker, author of The Coin Makers and a number of
articles in The Numismatist and Numismatic Scrapbook, circa
1960-1970. Becker worked at the Franklin Mint and the Money Museum at the
National Bank of Detroit.
We believe this is not the same Tom Becker of Bowers & Merena fame, who is still in the business in New Hampshire. Thomas W. Becker unearthed a portion of the Frank Stewart first Mint collection in Philadelphia in the 1960s, the focus of our research.
