The Silicon Alley Insider Chart of the Day for April 5th shows American opinions on various aspects of physical vs. electronic books.

The Pew Internet and American Life Project says 21% of Americans have read an e-book in the last year as of February. That's up from 17% in December. It also surveyed Americans to find out what they like about e-books versus print books. The result is below. As you can see, print books are only better for reading with a child, and sharing with friends.
