NEW BOOK: FRENCH MEDALLIC ART IN THE 19TH AND 20TH CENTURYNicolas Maier writes: It took some time for the Musée d’Orsay to make the catalogue accompanying the exhibition ‘La médaille en France aux XIXe et XXe siècles’ available online. With nearly 300 illustrations (partly in colour), it provides a good overview about French medallic art, even if the text is only in French.
