And speaking of mutilated banknotes, in the what-could-possibly-go-wrong department, Dick Hanscom of Alaska sent this Daily Mail article with a great compilation of photos of what can happen when children are left without supervision. Only one had a numismatic connection, but see the rest online - the results are hilarious. -Editor
