Tallow Chandler Token
  
   
Peeking out from the Thames mud, a late 17th Century trader’s token. Issued on behalf of Tallow Chandler Thomas Giltman of Gosswell Street, Clerkenwell. Tallow was made from
the rendered fat of butchered animals, poured into a mould to make candles or soap.

I recently found my first ever Roman coin whilst field detecting. Its an Antoninus Pius Denarius. Struck c 140-43 A.D. Rome Mint.Thank you to @TimothyMedhurst for the ID It was
pretty exciting I have to confess! I will be taking it to my next @findsorguk visit #metaldetecting
