Thomas Engelen has published another installment in his ongoing series on play money, with the latest monograph co-authored with Kai Towe. Metal Toy Coins and Medalets of Great Britain 1773-1960 draws from previous work by David de Sola Rogers and incorporates current web searches for additional catalog entries. Not surprisingly, British royalty is prominent on these pieces, with Queen Victoria easily the most seen.
