1913 LIBERTY HEAD NICKEL PAINTING OFFERED

 

Extraordinary painting of the ANA's Bebee Specimen legendary 1913 Liberty Head Nickel, created by NFP.io and Laura Verschoore to benefit the American Numismatic Association (ANA) during the celebration of America's 250th Anniversary. This is the inaugural large-format work of fine art created using NFP.io's proprietary and patented secure substrate authentication technology. Developed to protect high-security documents and banknote materials, this breakthrough is being applied to a museum-quality work of art for the first time, creating an object whose authenticity is inextricably bound to the artwork itself.

During manufacture, UV-reactive stochastic markers are permanently embedded throughout the three-dimensional structure of the canvas. Their naturally random arrangement creates a unique physical identity that can be neither duplicated nor replicated. Much like a fingerprint or DNA, the resulting forensic signature belongs exclusively to this artwork and remains with it for its lifetime. This allows for embedded, counterfeit-proof authentication. The dimensions of this piece are 14.5" x 20.5" (22 1/6' x 28 1/16' with frame included).

This is a Charity Auction with 100% of the proceeds going to the ANA! The painting can be delivered at the ANA World's Fair of Money upon completion of the auction, or shipped at the buyer's expense.
