CIVIL WAR TOKEN JOURNAL EDITOR WILL MUMFORD STEPS DOWN
The Summer 2008 issue of the Civil War Token Journal produced by the Civil War Token Society (CWTS) noted thatAfter 27 years serving as the Editor, Willard R. Mumford
will become Editor Emeritus of the Civil War Token Journal. We thank him
for his many years of service... Fred Ball will assume the duties of
Editor and Paul Cunningham will continue as Publisher.
Congratulations to Will for an incredible run and a
tremendous body of work. I've been a CWTS member and reader of the journal
for most of Will's 27 years at the helm. Each issue has something of
interest and the journal is a trove of information on these interesting
little tokens, their issuers and makers. Many thanks also to Fred Ball for
stepping in, and good luck! -Editor.
