eLive Premium Auction 449: Sammlung Dr. Hartmut Kreutzer, Teil 1
11. November 2026 auf www.kuenker.auex.de
When people hear the name Dr. Hartmut Kreutzer, they immediately think of his important book on the Syracusan drachmas and small silver coins from the period of the signatory artists. Now the first part of his collection is coming to market. It comprises around 100 lots of—not surprisingly—coins from Syracuse, including extremely rare small coins as well as comparative specimens of Syracusan and Sicilian coinage.
The pieces were selected with a deep understanding of the artistic quality and rarity of certain dies. Thus, not only will those who would like to own a coin from the city of Syracuse find something of interest, but so will the experienced specialist collector. For the collection offers types that are rarely seen.

eLive Premium Auction 449: Sammlung Dr. W. R., Teil 11
11. November 2026 auf www.kuenker.auex.de
As part of the eLive Premium Auction 449, the 11th installment of the Dr. W. R. Collection is being sold. Connoisseurs now know what to expect: select rarities of outstanding quality in all three metals—gold, silver, and bronze.
Part 11 features coins from the numismatically significant period spanning the beginning of the First Tetrarchy to the fall of the Western Roman Empire. Specialty collectors have much to look forward to, as they will discover many rare emperors—among whom we mention here only Alexander of Carthage and Martinianus. But the collection also includes historically interesting rarities featuring some of the better-known rulers.
The selection is thus extensive. Nevertheless, we recommend taking a closer look at the thoughtfully curated lots, which contain coins—some of which are in perfect condition.
